Kim was born in Poland and before settling in UK was working and travelling with various charities to India, Iceland, Italy and Holland dealing with environmental, social-economic issues effecting local communities, setting up Perma -cultural, self sustaining farms, which draws inspiration from nature to develop synergetic farming systems.

She is passionate about Art and enjoys oil paining and sculpture, as well as gardening. Her other interest are Psychology, Sociology and Sound Therapy.

She started working in UK in 2003 in Health and Social Care and has worked in range of services including Adult Mental Health, Dual Diagnosis with Complex Needs, Young Adults with Learning Difficulties, Palliative Care across NHS, charities and Private sector in various roles, starting as HCA, Mental Health and Palliative Care Support Worker, medical secretary and Reception Lead.
