Psychology and Talking Therapies

Why choose us?

We are highly specialised psychologists with over 75 years of clinical experience between us seeing adults and young people.

We have established academic backgrounds with both NHS careers as well as successful private practice. We provide a range of therapeutic interventions  (including CBT), across the spectrum of mental health and wellbeing issues, be it everyday worries or complex psychological conditions.

What makes us unique to most other psychology services is that we are onsite working in partnership with Dr Martin and the team of GPs, providing truly holistic, integrated continuity of care. This close collaboration means you have the highest quality care, and that is tailored specifically to you.

We are a centre of clinical excellence holding our values of trust, respect, and compassion at the heart of what we do. Our practice is located in a warm, welcoming environment. For some of our clients a particular level of discretion is required when visiting us and we offer a private entrance, separate from the rest of the clinic giving you confidence in the therapeutic care you receive with us.

How do we work?

We offer both in person and on line sessions.

Our work is evidence based, grounded in psychological research. All clients receive an initial assessment to gain a deeper understanding of the issues causing distress, exploring origins and symptoms whilst identifying what might be maintaining the problem. Together, we agree both objectives for therapy and a treatment plan.

Paramount to successful therapeutic experience is the relationship that develops between us. This helps inform our understanding of the psychological difficulties you may be experiencing and is essential to bringing about long lasting change.
