Baby and Child Health
As UK trained GPs we see babies and children from day 1 for all their health needs.
This includes regular baby and child health check-ups, and all their routine vaccinations.
Having a newborn can be incredibly daunting (as well as rewarding) but we are here to help with any and every issue along the way:
Acute illness and problems
Coughs, colds, sore throats and ear infections
Skin rashes, infections and other dermatology concerns
Urinary tract infections
Abdominal pains and digestive issues, like suspected cows milk protein allergies
General fatigue and not thriving
Regular Check-Ups
Newborn and 6-8 week checks including heart, abdominal and eye checks, plus weight/length and general review of their progress to date
Annual health checks to assess development height and weight
Childhood vaccinations
Routine vaccinations starting from 8 weeks through to teenage years
We usually follow the UK guidance - found here - but can follow other countries’ guidance such as the CDC guidance of USA
Non-standard vaccinations also available such as Chickenpox, Tuberculosis (BCG), Tick-borne encephalitis
More info on the full range of childhood vaccines we cover can be found on our Vaccinations page
Travel vaccines also available for children, and more information can be found on our Travel Clinic page
Appointment lengths required
We usually recommend a standard 30 minute appointment for routine childhood vaccinations, or if there is a health check up taking place.
For appointments where there is both a routine check up and vaccinations, a 60 minute appointment is required.
These can be booked online anytime via the website by clicking below, or contact us for any other questions for a prompt response:
