Cardiac Assessment & Blood Test
- An in-depth set of blood tests covering extended cardiac risk markers (lipoprotein A and Apolipoprotein B), cancer and hormone testing and key vitamins & minerals in addition to the full Core Assessment 
- For males: blood tests for prostate cancer, testosterone and inflammation markers 
- For females: blood tests for ovarian cancer, inflammation markers & full female hormone testing 
The Cardiac Assessment includes:
- 60 min Health Assessment with one of our expert GPs 
- Complete analysis of current medical issues and health problems 
- Health history (medical and surgical) 
- Family Medical history 
- Lifestyle (exercise, diet & sleep) 
- Full physical examination 
- Vitals including blood pressure, heart rate, height, weight 
- Key body systems examined: - Heart and circulation 
- Chest and lungs 
- Abdominal organs 
- Skin 
- Nervous system 
- Males - prostate and testicular examination 
- Females - breast examination 
 
The blood tests cover these key areas:

      - Full blood count (haemoglobin, red & white blood cell counts, platelets, ESR) 
- Kidney function (urea & electrolytes) 
- Liver function (Bilirubin, AST, ALT, GGT, protein, albumin, globulin) 
- Full thyroid function (including T4, T3 and TSH) 
- Diabetes check (blood glucose and HbA1c) 
- Calcium, phosphate and bone markers (ALP, corrected calcium) 
- Cholesterol breakdown (HDL, LDL, Total, triglycerides) 
- Iron levels, including ferritin (iron, ferritin, TIBC, transferrin sat) 
- Vitamin B12 and folic acid (B9) levels 
- Vitamin D3 level 
 
PLUS:
- Lipoprotein A and ApoB – transporters of cholesterol key to cardiac risk 
- Cholesterol levels – the “good” and “bad” cholesterols and their balance, important for heart health assessment 
- C-reactive protein – marker of inflammation 
- Key vitamins and minerals such as calcium, vitamin D3, B9 (folate), B12, zinc and magnesium – critical for bone health, nerve function and blood cell production 
For Males:
- Testosterone level – the male hormone critical for strength, energy and sex-drive 
- Prostate cancer testing (PSA level) 
For Females:
- Ovarian cancer testing (Ca 125, HE4/ROMA score) 
- Full hormone testing (oestrogen, FSH, LH, testosterone) - +/- HPV cervical cancer smear test if indicated, at additional cost
