Founder
Isa Robinson is registered nutritionist (RNutr), Nutritional Therapist (mBANT) and certified Intuitive eating counsellor. She runs the virtual private practice Isa Robinson Nutrition, a team of registered nutritionists and dietitians specialising in weight inclusive approaches to eating disorder recovery, disordered eating, intuitive eating and healing from chronic dieting.
Alongside this, Isa has worked in several of London’s leading mental health clinics alongside teams of psychologists and psychiatrists.
Isa firmly believes that the way we think and feel about food is just as important as what we put on our plates and that all foods can fit into a “healthy” and balanced diet.
Following her own experience of an eating disorder and recovery, including a brief stint as a wellness influencer, Isa completed her masters in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition at UCL, obtaining a distinction and has gone on to undertake reputable training in body image, intuitive eating, trauma-informed care, and nutritional psychiatry.
Her research on the impacts of eating disorders on caregivers entitled "If she had broken her leg, she would not have waited in agony for 9 months": Caregivers' experiences of eating disorder treatment" was published in the European Eating Disorders Review in 2020, and she presented at The Eating Disorders International Conference in 2021. Isa has contributed to many publications in print and online, including Country and Townhouse, Education First, Tesco’s magazine, Stylist, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire.
Alongside her clinical work, Isa is passionate about working with teens to educate on nutrition misinformation, media literacy and diet culture. Isa has now partnered with over a dozen independent schools where she speaks with young people, as well as parents and staff as part of what she calls a whole school approach to eating disorder prevention with the main purpose of helping young people foster a healthy relationship with food and body image. In 2021 she was invited to present at The Girls School’s Association meeting on this topic. She has also spoken at the BEAT Eating disorder conference, as well as at Soho house and for corporates such as BCG and Paul Hastings.
Isa is active on social media, on both Instagram (>30k followers) and TikTok under the handle @isarobinson_nutrition. She also runs the podcast 50 shades of food and nutrition, which explores the nuances and the grey areas when it comes to nutrition science. She has interviewed guests such as Evelyn Tribole, Laura Thomas, Kimberley Wilson and Dr Aric Sigman. Isa has also been invited to speak on a range of podcasts and Instagram lives including Don’t Salt my Game with Laura Thomas PHD, The Brian Keane podcast, Julia Samuels OBE, Nadia Craddock and Kimberley Wilson.
